Our goals include: Building lasting relationships with each of our Clients and being here when they need us; keeping them informed of the progress of their matters, and supporting them along the way; listening to our Clients, to understand what they want, while determining and advising them of their best interests; and working to achieve the best possible results for our Clients, whether through litigation or alternative dispute resolution.
We work as a team.
We work in a team-oriented way and benefit from the collaboration of our combined experience. Our clients’ files are handled by a team who share a central passion for understanding and helping our clients. Our law practice technology and file organization habits help further this teamwork internally as we keep abreast of what each other is doing. In the end, this team mentality helps our clients. Team activities such as our daily workouts strengthen this team-focused culture.
We utilize quality research.
We also do not skimp on legal research. We are a small firm but use Westlaw, a research service by Thompson Reuters that is the same tool used by the courts and most large firms and is considered by many to be the best legal research provider. We keep abreast of our areas of law through continuing legal education, reading legal updates, and regularly conducting research.
We embrace technology.
Since the firm began in 2010, we have been “paperless.” Unlike an old-fashioned-style law firm, we do not keep paper files or maintain a “file room.” Rather, our files are maintained in a secure, cloud-based system that our legal team and clients can access from anywhere they have computer and Internet access. Our client portal, “Clio Connect,” allows clients to log onto a secure portal to access shared documents, tasks, calendar events, and invoices as well as communicate with us via secure messaging. Clio Connect allows our clients to view their file documents at any time of day and receive instant notification of new developments. Apps for iPhone or Android are available.

In the wake of the 2008 financial crisis, countless Americans faced the grim reality of foreclosure. Yet, for some, the financial nightmare didn’t end with the loss of their homes. Years, even decades later, some find themselves haunted by “zombie” loans: old, supposedly settled debts that suddenly come back to life, demanding payment, sometimes through…
Samantha Markle sued her half-sister Meghan Markle for defamation in the Middle District of Florida last year over statements Meghan made on a televised interview with Oprah Winfrey and in the Netflix series Harry & Meghan. Meghan defended the case, Markle v. Markle, aggressively, with the court ultimately dismissing the complaint for failure to state…
Imagine you’re in a courtroom. Would you prefer an attorney whose voice booms with aggression, or one whose arguments resonate with calm confidence? Popular culture, with characters like the flamboyant Jackie Chiles from Seinfeld, might have us believe that the former is more effective. Yet, in the practice of law, the latter often prevails. Let’s…
A criminal-law case out of Miami came across my desk this morning that was worth a read. I usually read only new civil cases, but this particular order, or, rather, memorandum, was relevant because of the implications to the analysis to social media accounts being accessed in civil discovery. Occasionally, a litigant in civil discovery…
Since February 24, 2023, Strike 3 Holdings has filed 27 lawsuits in the United States District Courts of Florida against “John Does” whom it accuses of downloading its pornographic videos via BitTorrent. These include 12 lawsuits filed in Florida’s Middle District and 15 in the Southern District. The following 12 cases were filed on February…
A recent defamation lawsuit filed against the Brevard County sheriff made headlines, as it targets the sheriff’s “Wheel of Fugitive” Facebook videos, which spoof Wheel of Fortune. The plaintiff, David Gay, said he wasn’t a fugitive when his name and image appeared — several times — on the wheel, and, as a result, lost a job…
I sometimes hear clients, when being pursued by a creditor, say things like, “I have no money, so they’re not going to get anything out of me.“ I then ask, “What about in 5 years? Will you have money then? How about 10 years? Fifteen?” If a creditor obtains a judgment against you, that judgment…
Did you receive an email from Satscams attaching a letter from Nagrastar about DISH Network? Nagrastar is the entity used by DISH Network to curb piracy of DISH Network programming. It owns the domain satscams.com from which it operates a website and sends out emails to people it accuses of pirating its signals. Many people…
A new year is upon us and many are looking forward to what will happen in 2021. For many, this last year wasn’t too lucrative. For Strike 3 Holdings, however; well, let’s check the court dockets for a recap. How many lawsuits has Strike 3 Holdings filed? Since September 25, 2017 — when Strike 3…
2020 was a bustling year for Strike 3 Holdings, and the pornographer-litigator shows no sign of slowing down. Because it continues to file lawsuits and issue subpoenas, I decided to put together a few frequently asked questions about Strike 3’s lawsuits in Miami-Dade County. Who is Strike 3 Holdings? Strike 3 Holdings, LLC is a…
